Happy Easter everyone!
Today theskies cleared and the sun shone and we all felt uplifted. We blew eggs and painted them. It turns out I am very bad at this. My daughter, on the other hand, is very good at this.

what pretty eggs I still have a small collection on display that my two daughters and a French exchange student did back in the early 80's. My eldest daughter Sam (also blogger) linked me to your site and I will visit it again. Thank you
Hello to Sam's Mum! Thank you for your note...I hope the ones we made last as long as yours. I greatly enjoy Sam's blog - you must be very proud of her. Am I right in thinking that you live in this area?
--and to paraphrase Nigel Slater... "When we say bread we mean proper, and when we say water we mean clean, and when we say salt we mean sea, and when we say oil we mean olive"
